This Day in MMA History: Nov. 10

On Nov. 10, 2012, the Ultimate Fighting Championship was in Macau, China, for UFC on Fuel TV 6. It served as the first UFC event in China.

In the main event, Cung Le knocked out Rich Franklin in the first round. It was the Knockout of the Night and the Knockout of the Year and also was his last win as a pro. In his next fight, he went back to Macau, where he lost to Michael Bisping and retired from the sport. This was also Franklin’s last fight after he teased one more trip to the Octagon. Ultimately, he opted not to take that trip.
